Good to know

Questions, answered

Does a saree come with a blouse piece?
Many do. A saree with a blouse piece is about 6.3 metres — 5.5 metres to drape and about 0.8 metres of matching cloth for the blouse. If a product page does not say, ask us.
What does 9 × 5 mean?
It is the size in mulam — about 18 inches each: a 9-mulam dhoti with a 5-mulam towel, also called an angavastram. That is about a 4-metre dhoti and a 2.25-metre towel.
Cotton or silk — which should I choose?
Cotton is cool and easy to wash — good for daily wear and long functions. Silk has a rich sheen for weddings and pooja. Art silk gives a silk-like look that is lighter to look after.
How do I look after silk?
Dry clean silk sarees and dhotis, or rinse them gently in cold water and dry in the shade. Store them wrapped in a cotton cloth, and iron on the reverse side of the zari.
Do you take bulk or wedding orders?
Yes — weddings, return gifts, temples and functions. Use the Bulk orders page or WhatsApp to tell us what you need and how many, and we will send you a price for the whole order.
How can I track my order?
Use the Track Order page with your phone number to see where your parcel is.
